The Sinitic World (Sinology)

Please be patient while I update this page. The Sinitic world, both in terms of the Sinitic cultural sphere, the Sinophone world, and other similar designations refer to some aspect of Chinese. In Mujeeb's case, the SInitic cultural sphere identifies the cultures and civilizations that utilized Literary Chinese as their intellectual scripta franca (the written version of lingua franca). Japan, Korea, and Vietnam are salient examples of cultures with unintelligible spoken languages utilizing the same intellectual written language.
